SYSTEM LOGIC

The Model is the ideal system for Monitoring, and Control of pH /ORP. It offers great versatility and finds applications in effluent monitoring of wastewater, process control, pH neutralization etc.  Fully enclosed in a weatherproof enclosure it is suitable for outdoor use or in corrosive environments.

The control logic is simple. From the face panel of the instrument, dial in your set points within which you wish to control the pH/ORP.


Plug in your chemical feed pumps into the receptacles provided on the bottom of the enclosure. When the pH value rises above the high set point it will activate the acid pump, and lower the pH until it reaches the set point. If the pH falls below the lower set point, the base pump is activated un­til the pH rises to the set point level and then shuts off In this manner, the pH is always maintained within your defined pH levels.

NEMA 4X wall mount enclosure design allows easy mounting. Impact and chemically resistant construction. Transparent front door fastened with a hinged latch and provides a clear view of controller with easy access to front panel adjustments. Bottom access to plug-in receptacles for pumps and BNC electrode connectors provide ease of operation. Operating temperature: -10 to 400 C.

PROBES

Combination electrode for use in process and waste applications. Built for Submersion and In­line applications. The outer body is Ryton and has a 3/4 inch MNPT thread at both ends. An Industrial Plunger style glass electrode is surrounded by a peripheral Porous Teflon liguid junction. This design allows the user to mount the electrode at any angle rather than just vertical as is normal. Comes standard with a 15ft cable and BNC connector. A high temperature version is available for greater than 800C (176F)

CONTROLLER

Reliable, Accurate, Smart

Precise flow depth measurements are continuously made under processor control. Ultrasonic sound pulses are transmitted from the sensor and elapsed time of echo return is accurately calcu­lated. This information is converted to a depth-of-flow and is applied to the respective equation for the flow device selected. The built-in equations produce a flow rate and totalized flow. 

Proportional analog flow rate signals, relay contact closures and RS-232/485 outputs are available for remote indicating, recording, sampling and Downloading of Flow Data to PC/lapTop. 

Complete solid-state design ensures repeatable, long term, trouble-free operation. All circuits are protected in a NEMA 4X enclosure with a clear polycarbonate hinged cover for easy viewing of flow indications. The controller can be located up to 1500 feet from the measuring site for your convenience.

Control Electronics model CPS-460 Ultrasonic Doppler Flowmeter is a highly accurate, noncontacting liquid flow measuring device. The system is microprocessor controlled and will monitor flows of solid-bearing and/or aerated liquids in most standard pipe materials. Applications range from monitoring flow rates in sewage works and industrial waste discharges to controlling valve positioning and pump rates.

CONTROLLER
Reliable, Accurate, Smart

Precise Flow measurements are continuously made by an ultrasonic sound wave that penetrates through the pipe wall into the flow stream. Advanced techniques, under processor control, evaluate the returned Doppler signal, eliminating and rejecting unwanted components that may interfere with extraction of the true flow signal. This information is converted to an average flow velocity and is applied to the respective pipe size ID selected. The built-in equations calculate a volume flow rate and total flow. proportional analog flow rate signals, four relay contact closures, RS-232 and modem(opt) outputs are available for remote indicating, recording, sampling, valve control and process control. A detailed Data Logging is also included. All circuits are protected in a NEMA 4X, IP65 enclosure with a clear polycarbonate hinged cover for easy viewing of flow indications. The optional 460R Controller can be located up to 1000 feet from the measuring site.
